Tinariwen announce ninth album with new single "Tenere Den"
Tinariwen are back with news of their upcoming ninth album Amatssou, and have released new song "Tenere Den" to accompany the announcement.
"Tenere Den" is the group's first outing since reissuing their reissue of their early '90s album Kel Tinariwen in November last year, and is teamed with a Alexis Jamet-directed video.
The new track is also the first preview of their upcoming ninth album Amatssou, which will follow 2019's Amadjar. The new album features contributions from Fats Kaplin (who also plays with Jack White) and Wes Corbett, and is produced by Daniel Lanois.
