Tina Knowles addresses rumours that Beyoncé shaded Lizzo on recent "Break My Soul" performance
On Tuesday, in Boston, Beyoncé skipped over Lizzo’s name while performing the song “Break My Soul (The Queens Remix).”
Even though Lizzo’s name appeared on the big screen along with the likes of Nina Simone, Kelly Rowland, Lauryn Hill and more, Beyoncé sang over the lyric by repeating Erykah Badu’s last name four times.
“Beyoncé reiterating Badu and skipping Lizzo… that’s on hitting 2 birds with 1 stone,” a fan captioned a clip of the performance on Twitter, referring to Badu’s recent comments that Beyoncé copied a signature black hat look of hers for the tour.
The tweet also alludes to Beyoncé shading Lizzo and not including her due to news breaking earlier that day, that three of her dancers had filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against her.

Responding to this claim, Tina Knowles said: “She also didn’t say her own sisters name yal should really stop," to which a fan replied: "tell em miss tina", and another thanked her for clearing things up: "Perid! [sic] Thank you for setting the record straight Ms. Tina!"
Beyoncé has not addressed these claims.
