Ticketmaster offering select verified Taylor Swift fans a new opportunity to get The Eras Tour tickets

Ticketmaster is offering some verified Taylor Swift fans a new opportunity to purchase tickets for The Eras tour after thousands of fans were unable to get tickets in the pre-sale.

Last month Ticketmaster cancelled the public sale date for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour after millions of fans crashed the site, leaving a huge amount of people without tickets during the pre-sale. Ticketmaster apologised for the "terrible experience" during the pre-sale, and Swift also spoke out about the situation, revealing that she was assured they could "handle this kind of demand".

A few verified Taylor Swift fans, who "received a boost during the Verified Fan presale but did not purchase tickets," have since been presented with a new opportunity to get The Eras tour tickets via Ticketmaster. The company apologised for the "difficulties" that fans experienced in the pre-sale, and wrote that they've "been asked by Taylor's team to create this additional opportunity".

Currently, there's only US dates available for The Eras Tour, but Taylor Swift confirmed at the time that "international dates" will be "announced as soon as we can."
