The WAEVE unveil new cut "Kill Me Again"
Graham Coxon and Rose Elinor Dougall have shared their latest single as The WAEVE titled "Kill Me Again", which will feature on next year's self-titled debut album.
"Kill Me Again" is the third preview of The WAEVE's debut album, following "Drowning", and "Can I Call You", and is accompanied by a David J East-directed video.
The duo says the new single "explores the feeling of non being or the sensation of shape shifting during intense pleasure, the battle of light to exist within the universe as it becomes increasingly influenced by dark forces. It’s a celebration of sexual agency and the power generated by the physical merging of entities, the power that brings into being and how it will overcome evil…."
Their self-titled debut album is produced by The WAEVE and James Ford, and was recorded in London earlier this year. Many of the 10 tracks on the record will feature Graham Coxon on saxophone.
"Kill Me Again" is out now. The WAEVE's self-titled debut album will be released on 3 February 2023 via Transgressive Records, and is available to pre-order now. They'll play London's Lafayette on 27 March 2023. Tickets are on sale now via thewaeveofficial.com.
