The Smile announce new live album recorded at Montreux Jazz Festival 2022
Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner, aka The Smile, have announced a new live album recorded during their set at Montreux Jazz Festival 2022.
The seven-track live record will feature recordings of tracks from their debut album A Light for Attracting Attention, and ahead of the album arriving digitally tomorrow (14 December), the filmed performance will premiere on YouTube tonight (13 December), featuring footage of the first live performance of the unreleased song "Bending Hectic"

The release of The Smile's Montreux Jazz Festival performance follows similar projects by Miles Davis, Nina Simone, Wu-Tang Clan, Nile Rodgers and Anna von Hausswolff. The festival has a long-standing history of hosting legendary moments in music culture, as a platform offering creative freedom to artists.
