The Roots tease new Erykah Badu and Tierra Whack collaboration "Misunderstood"
Questlove has shared a clip of a new song by The Roots titled "Misunderstood" being played on HOT 97, and it features Erykah Badu and Tierra Whack.
"Misunderstood" was played on HOT 97 by Funk Flex, who revealed that he challenged The Roots the week before, and "they delivered big time." Questlove shared a clip of the song being played on the radio station, and wrote, "I been waiting my whole life to bomb a song. This is my Xmas Funk Flex HOT 97 thank you!"
Questlove confirmed that the song is produced by Jorun Bombay, and that The Roots' upcoming album End Game will be wrapped up "PRONTO".
End Game will be The Roots' first album since 2014's ...And Then You Shoot Your Cousin.
The Roots are yet to share a release date for "Misunderstood" featuring Erykah Badu and Tierra Whack.
