
The Orielles, Steam Down and Alien Tango among first artists announced for SXSW 2023
The first wave of names playing SXSW 2023 have been revealed, featuring The Orielles, Steam Down, Alien Tango and many others.
2023 will mark the 37th edition of SXSW, and today (19 October) the first music acts heading to the Austin, Texas festival have been announced, and will be travelling from countries including Armenia, Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Norway, Pakistan, Philippines, Scotland, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Ukraine and Wales.
The first wave of names over 190 names including The Orielles, Steam Down, Alien Tango, Algiers, Balming Tiger, Chiiild, Coach Party, Crawlers, Disq, Folly Group, Ghouljaboy, GHUM, The Golden Dregs, Jane Weaver, Julie Doiron, 2022 Eurovision winners Kalush Orchestra, M(h)aol, Panic Shack, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Poster Paints, Saloon Dion, Silverbacks, spill tab, Yazmin Lacey and many more.
