The National tease their return by sending fans postcards for something titled "Tranquilize the Mind"
It looks like The National are preparing to return later this week, after certain fans received postcards teasing something titled "Tranquilize the Mind" for this Friday (13 January).
Back in March 2022, Bryce Dessner gave an update on The National's follow-up to 2019's I Am Easy To Find album, saying it "kind of feels back to the classic National sound in a way, which was really just the five of us, and it has a lot of energy in it. Maybe it’s like bursting out of the closed doors of Covid or something? I don’t know."
In August, they delivered their latest single "Weird Goodbyes", which features Bon Iver, and now it seems The National are teasing something for this Friday (13 January), after certain fans received postcards teasing something titled "Tranquilize the Mind".
Last month Bryce Dessner and Alejandro G. Iñárritu released their Bardo soundtrack. Bryce and Aaron Dessner have also contributed to Complete Mountain Almanac's upcoming self-titled debut album.
