Phoria headline St. Pancras Old Church
To celebrate the launch of their new X Novo Records-released Display EP, Phoria headlined St. Pancras Old Church last night.
The atmospheric alt-rock Brighton five-piece ran through tracks from the new extended player, including “Emanate”, “Undone” and our former Song Of The Day “efforttobreathe”.
A string quartet - given a song of their own - and mesmerising projected visuals added an extra dimension to proceedings as their building, ethereal sound brought audible groans of appreciation from the pews, particularly from previously unheard “Size Of It”.
“Red”, which first drew our attention to Phoria, appeared late in the set before its first Bloodworks EP counterpart “Posture” closed the impressive outing.
