HONNE joined on stage by Izzy Bizu and Jones at London homecoming last night
London duo HONNE returned to their home city for their biggest sell out show to date in the capital at Electric Brixton last night.
Taking to the stage alongside a full band including two backing-singers, the pair worked their way through a funk-fired set that perfectly showcased their signature futuristic soul sound.
They were also joined by special guests such as Jones, who had provided support earlier on in the evening and joined the stage to provide backing vocals on the beautiful "No Place Like Home". Next to the stage was soul singer Izzy Bizu who lent her bright, sunny voice to "Someone That Loves You".
The crowd was hooked on every note and in fine voice for each song, with "Gone Are The Days" and "Top To Toe" providing particular high points. It became clear that this sold-out crowd was entirely invested in the duo. For a band who haven’t even released their debut album yet, it was an extremely impressive showing, and it’s evident that 2016 is going to be a big year for HONNE.
