The Last Dinner Party cover Blondie's "Call Me" for Triple J's Like A Version
The Last Dinner Party dropped in to Australia’s Triple J radio station to record a “Like A Version” session, and have shared their cover of Blondie’s “Call Me”.
The British band, currently in Japan to perform at Fuji Rocks on Saturday, recently completed a sold-out run of headline dates in Australia, their first live shows in the country. The band will head back to the US later this month ahead of a return to the UK to play the main stage at Reading & Leeds Festivals in August. A huge 22-date sold out UK/Ireland run kicks off on 18 September in Belfast, culminating in three homecoming shows at London’s Eventim Apollo in October.
Yesterday, their number one debut album, Prelude To Ecstasy, was included in the 2024 Mercury Prize – Albums of the Year.
