The internet reacts to Lady Gaga's new single: "gaga is always at her best when she’s vaguely catholic"
Lady Gaga has unveiled the brand new single, "Abracadabra", taken from her forthcoming seventh studio album, MAYHEM.
The video—directed by Lady Gaga, Parris Goebel, and Bethany Vargas—and featuring choreography by Parris Goebel, showcases a dance battle between the light and dark sides of Gaga. Gaga collaborated with Goebel to create the epic dance sequences, which were brought to life by a community of 40 dancers.
The forthcoming album, MAYHEM follows on from 2020's, Chromatica. Following on from "Disease" and her standalone collaboration with Bruno Mars, “Die With a Smile”, the new single, "ABRACADABRA" was debuted during a commercial break at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards.
The internet has reacted to the track, signifying that Lady Gaga is back at the top of her game. "gaga is always at her best when she’s vaguely catholic," wrote one user, with another saying: "Lady Gaga air fried her own nachos and they came out so fucking good".
Speaking of her chameleonic ways, another person wrote: "Lady Gaga's next movie should be some type of nunsploitation. She's always on fire when getting vaguely catholic cum blasphemous. I'm usually against remakes of masterpieces, but does anyone want to try remaking THE DEVILS as a musical?"
