Tegan and Sara's High School series gets official trailer
The official trailer has arrived for High School, an upcoming series based on Tegan and Sara's memoir of the same name, has arrived, ahead of its world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival 2022 this weekend.
Tegan and Sara's High School memoir was picked up by IMDb TV in May 2021 to be adapted into an original series, and after revealing in March that twins Railey and Seazynn Gilliland would playTegan and Sara in the series, Tegan and Sara announced last month that the series will get a world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival. The first teaser trailer arrived in August, and today (8 September) the official trailer for the series has been unveiled.
The trailer is also accompanied by Tegan and Sara's Amazon Original cover of Smashing Pumpkins' "Today".
High School is directed by Clea DuVall, and Tegan and Sara are executive producers for the series alongside DuVall.
Last month Tegan and Sara announced their new graphic novel Junior High, and released the third single from their Crybaby album "Faded Like A Feeling".
The first four episodes of High School will arrive on 14 October via Amazon Freevee, and the world premiere will take place at Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday (10 September).
