Taylor Swift's "special very chaotic surprise" is a 3am Edition of Midnights with seven bonus tracks
Taylor Swift has unveiled the "special very chaotic surprise" that was teased at the start of the week, and it's a 3am Edition of Midnights featuring seven bonus songs.
At the start of the week Swift shared the promo schedule for her Midnights album, which featured a "special very chaotic surprise" arriving at 3am EST (8am BST). It turns out it's an extended version of the record called Midnights (3am Edition), which has seven bonus tracks and is on Spotify now.
Aaron Dessner, who worked with Swift on Folklore, Evermore and some "From the Vault" songs on her re-recordings, didn't make an appearance on the original Midnights tracklist, but he did co-write and co-produce three of the seven bonus songs on the 3am Edition of Midnights, including "The Great War", "High Infidelity" and "Would've, Could've, Should've".
Swift will unveil the first Midnights music video for "Anti-Hero" at 1pm BST today.
Taylor Swift's Midnights album, and the 3am Edition, are both out now.
