Taylor Swift ruled out of Glastonbury Festival 2024 due to additional The Eras Tour dates
Taylor Swift has announced 14 more dates to the UK/EU leg of The Eras Tour, which rules her out of headlining Glastonbury Festival 2024.
The Eras Tour marks Taylor Swift's journey through all of her "musical eras", and is a tribute to all of her studio albums, including the latest, Midnights.
She commenced the tour in Glendale, Arizona, in March and has played in 13 stadiums across the US. Last month Swift announced the international dates – which include South America and Asia – as well a UK/EU stop, which contained four dates at London's Wembley Stadium.

Today, due to incredible demand, Taylor Swift has added an additional 14 dates to her international run of shows on The Eras Tour, and she has also announced Paramore as special guests. Swift and Hayley Williams have been friends for over a decade, and Williams is set to feature on Red (Taylor's Version) – the latest in Swift's series of re-recordings.
In a statement posted on her socials, Swift said: "Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour. And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore!! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???"

These additional shows officially rule out Taylor Swift headlining Glastonbury Festival 2024 – a rumour which has been circulating since 2022 and were given extra fuel by there being a gap in her touring schedule before these new dates were released.
Adding to the rumour mill, Glasto organiser Emily Eavis was also quoted in Variety last year, saying: “I think we’ve got Taylor on board next time she’s doing some touring – We would love to have her back, obviously.” Swift was originally confirmed to headline the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury back in 2020 before the iconic Festival was forced to cancel due to the worldwide pandemic.
