Taylor Swift reacts to Cincinnati stage malfunction: "still swift af boi"
During the most recent stop on Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour, at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, she had not one –but two – battles against the elements.
On the second of three shows at the Paycor Stadium, Swift took to the stage an hour early due to weather warnings. In a statment to her fans, she said: "Alas we’ve got another weather situation but this just means I get to see you sooner".
Show opener Gracie Abrams joined Swift on stage to perform her song "I miss you, I'm sorry", as her scheduled performance had to be scrapped due to the change of set times. “She’s one of my favourite friends and I love her so much. We haven’t sung together before, so I wanted to bring Gracie out on stage,” Taylor said before the duet.
Hey Cincinnati - Alas we’ve got another weather situation but this just means I get to see you sooner! I’ll be going on an hour early at 7pm - we’ll open doors at 4:30 😆 See you then!

Later in the evening, Swift suffered a stage malfunction as a trapdoor that allows her to quickly access the backstage area failed to open on time. After stamping on it, in hopes that it would work properly, Swift had to run down the walkway of the stage past her backing dancers, and go off side of stage.
This was captured by thousands of fans, and after footage went viral on TikTok, Taylor Swift decided to comment on one of the videos, making light of the situation. "still swift af boi", she said.
