Taylor Swift makes history with four albums simultaneously in top ten
With the release of Speak Now (Taylor's Version), Swift has made history has the first female artist with four albums sitting in the top ten of Billboard's music chart.
Speak Now (Taylor's Version) sits at number one on the Billboard 200 album's chart. Making history as the largest week of sales for any album that has been released this year, Swift has also broken the milestone of being the only female artist to have four albums in the top ten, simultaneously.
Swift is the first living artist to achieve this since Herb Alpert who set the record in 1966. Prime had previously acheived this, posthumously, in 2016. The album is her twelfth number one, which also sees her take the crown for the most number one albums amongst female artists – the title was previously held by Barbra Streisand.
Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) follows the re-recordings of Red and Fearless in 2021, both of which also debuted at number one.
