Taylor Swift announces expanded version of concert movie, TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR
Yesterday (27 November), Taylor Swift announced that she would be celebrating her birthday by releasing an expanded edition of the Eras Tour concert movie.
Posting on her socials, she wrote: "Hi! Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home! Very happy to be able to tell you that the extended version of the film including “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer” and “Long Live” will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada & additional countries to be announced soon starting on … you guessed it, December 13."
The three new songs were cut from the initial concert film, which runs at a time of 2 hours and 45 minutes, which is slightly shorter than Swift's set length – about 3 hours and 15 minutes. The film originally debuted in cinemas on 13 October.

On the weekend, Swift played her final shows of 2023 at the Allianz Park in São Paulo, Brazil. Across the weekend where she played three shows at Estádio Nilton Santos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, two fans died. One from a heart attack as a result from passing out due to the unbearable temperatures and a lack of water, as well as another fan who was attacked following Swift's postponement of the show on Saturday 18 November.
Earlier this month, she added two more dates to her forthcoming dates at Wembley Stadium in London. This makes London the city with the most dates on The Eras Tour and means Swift equals a record set by Take That in 2011. She's also the only international act ever to play eight dates at the stadium for one tour.
The extended home version of TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR is set for release on 13 December.
