Tapir! present new single, "Nail In A Wooden Trunk"
Tapir! have shared the brand new single, "Nail In A Wooden Trunk" and announce UK/EU dates later this year.
Talking about the track, Ike, lead-vocalist of Tapir! said: "After being so meticulous with our album, we wanted to try a more ‘carefree’ & playful approach with this song. The song was written in a day and then brought to life during our last tour. We then recorded it live in a day at Total Refreshment Centre in East London with Yuri and Hywel, the producers from our very first song, ‘My God’."
The track is accompanied by a video created by Doug Lussenhop (aka DJ Douggpound). Doug is an editor, writer, and musician known for his work on The Eric Andre Show, Tim and Eric Awesome Show and Portlandia among others.
Tapir! also announce new live dates, including a show at the Grade I Listed St Matthias Church in north London which promises "an intimate night of mostly un-heard & maybe not to be released Tapir! songs - attendees will receive a souvenir of the unique set on 25 December."
"Nail In A Wooden Trunk" is out now via Heavenly Recordings. For more information on their live dates, visit tapirband.co.uk.
