Tanya Tagaq to make acting debut in True Detective season four
Tanya Tagaq has revealed that she will provide sounds, as well as make her acting debut, in the upcoming fourth season of True Detective.
2014 Polaris Music Prize winner Tanya Tagaq has revealed that she's been travelling to Iceland to film for the upcoming fourth season of True Detective, which will star Jodie Foster and Kali Reis.
Tagaq shared HBO's recent teaser for True Detective: Night Country on Twitter, and wrote, "Happy to say that I have been going to Iceland to act and provide sounds to season 4 of true detective! It’s my first acting gig, small but fun part. Thank you for having me and it’s going to be soooooo good. No I won’t give you spoilers don’t ask."

Her latest album Tongues, released in January 2022, made the Polaris Music Prize longlist last year.
True Detective: Night Country is yet to get a release date, but is "coming soon".
