T. Evann returns after two year hiatus and announces forthcoming EP, Unfree Silver Mountain
London-based artist T. Evann has announced his forthcoming EP, Unfree Silver Mountain, alongside the release of lead single "Fill The Void".
"Fill The Void" is about the pushes and pulls of living within a major city. It touches on themes of hedonism and temptation, where the allure of nightlife and club culture battles with the desire to be a reclusive, introverted songwriter and bedroom producer.
“The balancing act of self-compassion and creative guilt is a funny thing when writing music, or any art for that matter. This one in particular was written about wanting to go out and socialise but you have the underlying urge of knowing you should be creating something," T. Evann says of the new single. "Fill the Void is an ode to those times… sometimes satisfying, sometimes frustrating.”
The forthcoming release, Unfree Silver Mountain, is the follow-up to producer, songwriter and sound designer Tyler Evann's previous EPs, Headblush, which was unveiled in 2021, and Pocus, which followed a year later.
"Fill The Void" is out now. Unfree Silver Mountain is set for release on 6 December via Liquid State Audio.
