SZA has shared what appears to be the cover for her forthcoming album S.O.S.
Last month it was revealed that SZA's Ctrl follow-up would be titled S.O.S., and would be arriving in December, and last night (30 November) on socials, SZA uploaded what fans believe is the S.O.S. album cover, which shows her sitting in a S.O.S. jersey on an extended springboard over the open ocean.

In the piece that revealed her new album title and release month, SZA discussed some thoughts about the longevity of being in the music industry, saying, "I feel like music, in this capacity, I don’t see longevity. I like to create, I like to write, I like to sing, and I like to share. But I don’t know if chasing after superstardom or whatever I’m supposed to be doing right now is sustainable for me or for anybody. I’mma take a good swing at it, and I’mma give ’em my absolute best."
She also spoke about the stressful process of releasing music, "I hate the red tape analytics of dropping anything - it’s so stressful. I definitely have heard [the term ‘digital service provider’] more this week and last week than I have ever. I don’t like the way it sounds - it sounds stressful and like something that requires a lot of attention and maneuvering. I hate the word ‘single.’ It’s like, ‘What the fuck separates a single from other shit on my album that I like? Why does it have to be different?'"
SZA's S.O.S. album is due out in December, but she's yet to share a specific release date.
