SZA finally releases new single "Shirt" and confirms it's "album time"
SZA has finally delivered her long-awaited new single "Shirt", and she's also confirmed that her Ctrl follow-up is on the way.
"Shirt" is a title fans gave the song after SZA teased it on TikTok through a dance challenge back in January 2021, and today (28 October) it's finally been given an official release, and lands with a Dave Meyers-directed video also starring LaKeith Stanfield.
Fans believe SZA's new album could be arriving as soon as December this year, as it's featured on the number plate of the car, which also reads "NO CTRL". The new video also previews another song at the end, which fans think is called "Blind".
The single marks SZA's first release since appearing on DJ Khaled's "BEAUTIFUL" in August, and she's also reportedly confirmed that it's "album time baby. Y’all gonna get it all. New era starts now."
