Summer Walker is teasing a “Girls Need Love” remix with Victoria Monét
The forthcoming remix is said to coincide with the five year anniversary of Summer Walker's debut mixtape, Last Day of Summer.
The track originally featured on Last Day of Summer, which also featured a remix from Drake. In a recent video post, therapist Walker is joined by the internet personality Terri Joe who is upset and seeking advice about a man who appears to be ghosting her.
"I don't know what to do," Joe says. "He not answering my calls, he not answering my texts..." this then pans to Walker recommending a Spotify playlist, and saying: "This is what you need".
As the camera zooms in on the playlist, the song at the top is "Girls Need Love," with Victoria Monét, which seems to confirm that a new remix is on the horizon. Although no release date has been announced just yet, the original release for Last Day of Summer was 19 October, which is just two weeks away. The remix could be a celebration of its fifth anniversary.
There is no release date set for the forthcoming Victoria Monét remix of "Girls Need Love".
