Stormzy delivers new single "Mel Made Me Do It" with video featuring Little Simz, José Mourinho, Louis Theroux and more
Stormzy is finally back with "Mel Made Me Do It", a seven-minute track teamed with an 11-minute video featuring cameos from Little Simz, José Mourinho, Louis Theroux and many more.
"Mel Made Me Do It" is Stormzy's first new material since joining Knucks on "Die Hard" in May, and the title is, according to a press release, a "direct reference to the influence of his longtime personal stylist, Melissa's Wardrobe". The Knox Brown-produced, seven-minute song lands with an 11-minute KLVDR-directed video, which features cameos from Little Simz, José Mourinho, Louis Theroux, Dave, Usain Bolt, Ian Wright, Jme, Headie One, Brenda Edwards, Julie Adenuga, Jonathan Ross, Stylo G, Tiana Major9, Zeze Mills and many others.
The song also includes a monologue narrated by Michaela Coel (I May Destroy You, Chewing Gum), which was written by Wretch 32.
Back in March at Stormzy's first Heavy Is The Head UK show in Cardiff, he confirmed that his third album is on the way.
