Static Dress link up with Loathe and BVDLVD on Rouge Carpet Disaster Redux Vol 2
After redefining their debut album Rouge Carpet Disaster last month for its Redux version, Static Dress have revealed a surprise second volume for the project – Rouge Carpet Disaster Redux Vol 2.
Along with the release of the project, Static Dress also reveal a brand new visual for "Lye Solution", which now features UK genre-fluid titans Loathe, British alt-rap figurehead BVDLVD and American post-hardcore band Hail The Sun.
Elsewhere on the project, Static Dress draw from far-flung corners of the alternative scene to help metamorphose new iterations of Rouge Carpet Disaster tracks. "...Maybe!!?" sees Bodyweb join forces with producer Ryder Johnson, whilst I’m letting unseen forces take the wheel feature on "Cubicle Dialogue".
The EP also presents a live version of the album’s lead single, "sweet." which was recorded live at the Barclays Arena in Hamburg while on a European tour with Bring Me The Horizon.
Starting in January of 2024, Static Dress will hit the road once again with Bring Me The Horizon in arenas across the UK alongside Bad Omens and Cassyette. The band has also been announced for next year’s Sick New World festival, taking place in Las Vegas alongside some of contemporary music’s most notorious names in Slipknot, System Of A Down, Danny Elfman, Alice In Chains and more.
Carpet Disaster Redux Vol 2 is out now. For tickets and more information on their upcoming live dates, visit staticdress.com.
