Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone directs new video for Alvvays' "Many Mirrors"
Alvvays have shared their new video for Blue Rev track "Many Mirrors", which is directed by Eric Barone, creator of the Stardew Valley video game.
Back in October Alvvays released their new album Blue Rev, and today (7 December) they've unveiled a video for their "Many Mirrors" song, which is directed by Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone.
Barone says of the video, "It's not every day I get an email from a cool band like Alvvays. When I learned they were fans of Stardew Valley, it felt like a real honour. The whole album is fantastic, but the song "Many Mirrors" had a pure, adventurous energy to it that really resonated with me. I took that feeling, and used it to create a visual world in my mind's eye... and that's what ultimately turned into this video. I had a lot of fun making it, and I'm really happy to be able to contribute, in a small way, to the band's story!"
In October Jeff Tweedy shared a cover of Alvvays' Blue Rev single "Pharmacist".
Alvvays' Blue Rev album is out now on Transgressive.
