St. Vincent covers David Bowie's "Young Americans"
During the Love Rocks NYC benefit at the Beacon Theatre yesterday (9 March), St. Vincent performed a cover of David Bowie's "Young Americans".
Just yesterday (9 March) St. Vincent's cover of Portishead's "Glory Box" from Jimmy Fallon made the rounds online, and hours later, she took part in the Love Rocks NYC benefit, and played another cover, this time of David Bowie's "Young Americans".
Mavis Staples, John Mayer, James Taylor, Pat Benetar, Sheryl Crow and My Morning Jacket’s Jim James also took part in the Love Rocks NYC benefit.
Back in January Nile Rodgers revealed he's been "working on new music" with St. Vincent.
St. Vincent hasn't released anything since giving her cover of Nine Inch Nails' "Piggy" an official release in July 2022.
