SPRINTS share final album taster, "Heavy"
Dublin four-piece SPRINTS have shared "Heavy" as the final single from their their forthcoming debut album, Letter To Self.
On the new single, lead vocalist Karla Chubb says: "If Ticking is the sonic iteration of anxiety, then Heavy is its literal counterpart. The brutally cacophonous sound communicates how it feels to be paralysed and inspired by anxiety, pairing intrusive thoughts, panic and intensity with that anxiety inducing build. Heavily inspired my early Bauhaus records and PJ Harvey’s Is This Desire? it draws a heavy influence from 80s gothic-the purposeful space reflecting the isolating nature of panic.“
SPRINTS will headline London's Heaven on 3 April as part of a huge UK/EU tour which includes stops in Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, Bristol, Glasgow, Nottingham, Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam.
Sprints' debut album, Letter To Self, will be release on 5 January via City Slang Records.
