Sophie Ellis-Bextor releases "Murder on the Dancefloor" on 7" vinyl for the first time
Following the resurgence of her 2001 hit, "Murder on the Dancefloor", due to being featured in the closing scene of Saltburn, Sophie Ellis-Bextor has released the track on vinyl for the first time.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor has announced that she will be releasing the song which features on her on her debut album, Read My Lips, on 7” vinyl for the first time following it returning to the top ten UK charts for the first time in 22 years last week.
Alongside the limited edition red 7”, Ellis-Bextor will release a limited-edition red CD single. She has also shared a seven-track Murder on the Dancefloor EP, featuring song accompanied by its original B-Side "Never Let Me Down", the Extended Album Version and remixes from Jewels & Stone, Danny D, Hq and Twin Murder. All tracks were originally released in 2001 but the majority are brand new to streaming services.
The 7" vinyl, and limited-edition red CD single, are now available to pre-order for release on 16 February through Polydor/Universal Music Recordings.
