SOHN has released "M.I.A." as the third taster of his first album in five years, Trust.
After announcing Trust with "Segre" last month, SOHN has shared a third taster of the record with "M.I.A.", which lands with a video directed by Vira-Lata.
SOHN says of the new release, ""M.I.A." is a dedicated to the partners of those with depression - the ones who hold it down while their loved ones may be missing-in-action whilst suffering. I speak from experience of having a partner who held our world together whilst I struggled to see my way out of darkness, and this is my thank you to all who support their loved ones in times of trouble."
Trust will be SOHN's first album in five years, following his 2017 second album Rennen, and saw him bring in collaborators for the record for the first time, including Yakob, Mike Sonier, Jesse Boykins III, Ryan Linvill, Noah Le Gros and Emile Mosseri. The new album will also feature his May single "Figureskating, Neusiedlersee".
He adds of the album, "On Tremors it was like I was behind glass, but Trust feels like you could be sat in that room, and not just with me; you're sitting in this room with me, some musicians, some friends."
"M.I.A." is out now. SOHN's third album Trust will arrive digitally on 2 September, and physically on 4 November. Pre-order now. He'll play London's Roundhouse on 19 November. Tickets are on sale now from sohnmusic.com
