Watch Soccer Mommy cover Slowdive for Best Fit's secret sessions at End of the Road
Soccer Mommy performed her own take on Slowdive's 1993 track "Dagger" as part of her secret set for The Line of Best Fit this weekend at End of the Road Festival.
The track, taken from the English shoegaze band's seminal record Souvlaki was part of a three-song set for Best Fit's secret sessions, which this year saw the likes of Kurt Vile, Lucy Dacus and The Magnetic Fields also taking part.
Watch the performance below.
Best Fit's secret sessions have become a key part of End of the Road each year, bringing together artists from across the line-up in a series of short sets, exlusive cover, collaborations, and live interviews and Q&As. Past guests have included Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, Moses Sumney, Alex Cameron, Laura Marling, Patti Smith, and Frightened Rabbit - who played a now iconic version of "The Modern Leper".
