Smokey Robinson to play his first UK show in 15 years at Love Supreme Jazz Festival
Love Supreme Jazz Festival have announced additional names for its 2025 edition, including Smokey Robinson, Arooj Aftab, Sampa The Great, and more.
The festival recently announced that triple Grammy-winning soul star Maxwell will headline on the Sunday night for what will be his first UK appearance for 9 years and his only UK show of the year. Now, they've confirmed legendary Motown icon Smokey Robinson will perform his first UK show in over 15 years.
They will be joined by the likes of En Vogue, Thee Sacred Souls, Branford Marsalis, Sampa The Great, Jamila Woods, Stanley Clarke, Durand Jones & The Indications, WAR (who will next year celebrate 50 years since the release of their smash hit song "Low Rider"), Arooj Aftab, and Lakecia Benjamin.
The Love Supreme Jazz Festival returns to Glynde Place in East Sussex from 4-6 July 2025. More information is available from lovesupremefestival.com.
