Siouxsie Sioux announces her first tour in 15 years
Last year, Siouxsie Sioux had shared news of her first live show in a decade at Latitude Festival 2023.
Siouxsie Sioux last performed live at the Yoko Ono-curated Meltdown festival in London in 2013, and has not toured since a 2008 outing in support of her solo debut Mantaray.
The announcement follows confirmation of an appearance at Latitude Festival, Mouth Of The Tyne Festival, Summer Nights At The Bandstand concert series in Glasgow in July, along with additional live dates in Europe. She also has one US performance lined up, headlining Cruel World Festival in May.
As well as these dates, Siouxsie Sioux is set to play a hometown show at London's Troxy, and a show at Wolverhampton's Civic at the Hall. Without mentioning whether any more dates will be added to Sioux's summer run of shows, an email statement to fans read: “The London show will be the culmination of a mixture of intimate shows and festivals from May through September.”
Her most recent recording came in 2015 with the release of a song called “Love Crime” which soundtrack the series finale of the UK series Hannibal.
Siouxsie Sioux will headline London's Troxy on 7 September. Tickets go on general sale at 10am tomorrow (27 April) and are available to purchase here.
