Sinéad O’Connor honoured with a Bratz doll for Women’s History Month
Sinéad O’Connor is the latest artist to be honoured with a concept Bratz doll as they continue to celebrate Women’s History Month.
Announcing the doll on their socials, a statement read: "Welcome back, Bratz Pack! Women’s Month continues with Sinéad O’Connor, an Irish singer, songwriter, and activist with a passion for 90z grunge fashion".
Whilst there are many positive comments under the post, there are a handful of people saying that this "[goes] against everything Sinéad stood for!". One person wrote: "this is so insidious and I can’t stop thinking about it", whilst another calling the post "deranged".
SOPHIE, Tyla, Chappell Roan, and Normani are among other artists who Bratz have turned into dolls. They have also shared that they will be revealing more next week.
Sinéad O'Connor died of natural causes last year, aged 56.
