Sigur Rós, Primal Scream, Gabriels and more to play new summer concert series On The Mount
A new concert series, On The Mount, is coming to Berkshire's Wasing Estate this summer, and will feature performances from Primal Scream, Gabriels, and Sigur Rós' UK festival exclusive.
2023 will be the inaugural edition of On The Mount at Wasing, and today (7 February) it's been revealed that Gabriels will headline a show on 22 June, followed by Jack Johnson on 25 June, Primal Scream on 30 June and Ben Howard on 1 July. Sigur Rós will also headline a show on 2 July, which will be their UK festival exclusive.
Rachel Chinouriri and Olivia Dean will join Gabriels on 22 June, and special guests are yet to be announced for the rest of the concert series.
On The Mount curators John Empson and Ollie Rosenblatt said, "We're delighted to bring such a diverse and wonderful line-up to the inaugural year of On The Mount, with artists that match the beauty and spectacular nature of The Mount at Wasing. We can’t wait for audiences to really experience something different on these summer evenings beneath the stars and surrounded by the woodland."
The concert series will also feature a summer solstice opening event on 21 June. The line-up is yet to be revealed.
Tickets for On The Mount go on general sale this Friday, 10 February at 10am GMT.
