Sevdaliza releases short film starring Josef Altin, I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START
Sevdaliza has shared her next audio-visual project, I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO START, with Partizan Films, which is soundtracked by her latest single “Who Are You Running From”.
Directed by Sharif Abd el Mawla, I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO START is a short film about a troubled, desperate man who is gradually losing his grip on life. Shifting between realism and a dream-state, the film tells the story of a lonely man who is being haunted by a woman he loves and fears.
Speaking on the film, Sharif shares: "In this film, I wanted to explore the troubled mind and the subconscious narratives that can keep a person accompanied during a challenging period of time. Tapping into thematic hues like loneliness, fantasy and intimacy, I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO START focuses on human imperfection and vulnerability in a picture perfect society that leaves no room for error. One in five adults experience a mental health problem each year."
"In I Don’t Know Where To Start, explore the subconscious narrative of the troubled mind together with director Sharif Abd el Mawla. The film portrays loneliness and vulnerability in a society obsessed with perfection," Sevdaliza explains.
Sevdaliza recently used deepfake technology in order to have Madonna, Julia Fox, and Grimes star in the video for her single, "Nothing Lasts Forever".
