Sault tease their debut live show to perform an unreleased album in full
The enigmatic collective Sault have teased their debut live show in which they will be performing a brand new, unreleased album live in full for the first time.
The teasers began last week, (25 November 25), when the collective posted on Instagram which read: “SAULT LIVE, LONDON, 2023”.
Whilst no further details have been shared, a second post followed which revealed that they would be performing an unreleased album live "for the first and only time”. Following on from their previous releases – five of which dropped last year – and 2021's NINE which was available for 99 days, a fan in the comments section is speculating the date that this will be revealed – "I’ve got a tenner that says we get this on 12/12. Like we got all them records last year on 11/11 and they dropped X on 10/10".
The identity of Sault has always been kept a mystery, although it is widely thought to be made up of vocalists Cleo Sol and Kid Sister, alongside the producer Inflo, and a wide range of collaborators including Little Simz, Michael Kiwanuka, and more.
Earlier this year at the Ivor Novello Awards, 11 won Best Album, and the recipients of the award were named as Inflo, Cleo Sol and Chronixx, as well as Jack Peñate.
Sault are yet to announce the official venue and date for their debut live show.
