Robbie & Mona announce second album with new cut "Clapback"
Robbie & Mona have shared news of their upcoming second album Tusky, and have delivered new cut "Clapback" to accompany the announcement.
"Clapback" lands with a self-directed video, and is the second taster of their Tusky album, following September's "Sherry Prada" single.
The duo's Eleanor Gray says the song is "not exactly a political song, it’s more like a dream where my emotions surrounding this lived topic have surfaced."
Tusky will follow Robbie & Mona's 2021 debut album EW, and features improvised saxophone from Campbell Baum (Sorry, Broadside Hacks) and Ben Vince (Housewives, Joy Orbison), as well as contributions from Bingo Fury, his drummer Henry Terrett, and a string ensemble led by Caelia Lunniss and Jo Silverston (Spindle Ensemble).
