RIIZE releases their debut single, "Get A Guitar"
K-Pop’s freshest boy group RIIZE releases their highly-anticipated debut single, “Get A Guitar” via SM Entertainment in a brand new partnership with RCA Records.
The single is available as a physical product along with its B-side, “Memories,” which was released last month and gave fans a sneak peek of what to expect from the group’s official debut.
RIIZE – made up of SHOTARO, EUNSEOK, SUNGCHAN, WONBIN, SEUNGHAN, SOHEE, and ANTON – is already taking the industry by storm, just over a month since they were announced. They broke the record for fastest K-Pop group to hit one million followers on Instagram, just four days after their account was launched.
The partnership between SM Entertainment and RCA Records was announced at a press conference in Seoul today. The news proves RIIZE’s power as global leaders of the next generation by signing with a major U.S. record label before making their official debut as it’s a rare occurrence for most K-Pop groups.
“RIIZE is ushering in an exciting new era of K-Pop,” says Joseph Chang, CEO of SM and Kakao Entertainment America/CBO of SM Entertainment. “We are thrilled to partner with the amazing team at RCA and look forward to making history together
“RIIZE are set to break new boundaries in global pop with an entirely fresh perspective. We are proud to partner with the incredible team at SM Entertainment and their incredible track record of artist development,” says John Fleckenstein, COO, RCA Records.
"Get A Guitar" is out now via SM Entertainment/RCA Records.
