Rihanna's Super Bowl performance is the second most-watched halftime show on record
Viewing figures for Rihanna's Super Bowl halftime show have been revealed, and it's the second most-watched halftime show yet, behind Katy Perry.
On Sunday (12 February) Rihanna returned to the stage for the first time in seven years for the Super Bowl LVII halftime show, and performed a jam-packed 13-minute show that featured a medley made up of 12 hits from her back catalogue. She opened the performance "Bitch Better Have My Money", and ended it with "Diamonds", and also used her stage time to reveal she is pregnant with her second child.
Following the performance, it's been revealed that Rihanna's halftime show is the second most-watched of all time, averaging 118.7 million viewers. Katy Perry's 2015 halftime performance is still the most-watched of all time, with an average of 121 million viewers.

Not only that, Rihanna's halftime show actually brought more viewers than the Super Bowl itself, with 113 million viewers. It marked the most-watched Super Bowl in six years, as well as the most-streamed Super Bowl event in history, and the third most-watch TV event, behind 2015 (114million) and 2022 (112million).
