Rihanna will perform "Lift Me Up" at 2023 Oscars
It's been announced that Rihanna will perform her Oscar-nominated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever song "Lift Me Up" at this year's Academy Awards next month.
Yesterday (23 February) the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Rihanna as a performer for the upcoming 95th Academy Awards on 12 March. She'll perform her Oscar-nominated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever song "Lift Me Up", and it'll follow her recent Super Bowl halftime show.

"Lift Me Up" is nominated for Best Original Song alongside Son Lux's Everything Everywhere All at Once song "This Is a Life" featuring Mitski and David Byrne, Lady Gaga's Top Gun: Maverick track "Hold My Hand", "Naatu Naatu" from RRR and "Applause” from Tell It Like a Woman, which is performed by Sofia Carson and was written by Diane Warren. The song marks Rihanna's first Academy Award nomination
The 95th Academy Awards will take place on 12 March.
