Rihanna says there's "about 39 versions" of Super Bowl halftime show setlist at the moment

This Sunday (12 February) Rihanna will return to the stage for the first time in seven years for the Super Bowl LVII halftime show, and while speaking to Apple Music for a livestream press conference this afternoon, Rihanna discussed putting the show together, picking the setlist and more.

As well as saying there's "something exhilarating about the challenge of it all," Rihanna said this year is an "important" year for her to do the halftime show, especially after giving birth to her son last year.

When asked about the potential setlist by host Nadeska Alexis, Rihanna said her main focus was "how to maximise 13 minutes." She also revealed that the show will be a "celebration of my catalogue," and they've been trying to "cram 17 years of work into 13 minutes."

On top of discussing how the stage builders are doing an "impossible" task, Rihanna revealed that there's "about 39 versions of" her setlist at the moment, and she's still cutting and adding to it with just a couple of days to go.
