Rihanna returns with first solo single in over six years "Lift Me Up"
Rihanna is back with her Black Panther: Wakanda Forever song "Lift Me Up", marking her first solo release in more than six years.
"Lift Me Up" was co-written with Tems, Ludwig Göransson and Ryan Coogler, and is a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, who starred in the first Black Panther film.
The new song will mark Rihanna's first new music since appearing on PARTYNEXTDOOR's "Believe It" in 2020, and will be her first solo outing since her 2016 Anti album.
On Instagram, Tems wrote of the song, "Blessed to have written this song in honour of Chadwick Boseman and even more blessed to hear the baddest Rihanna voice it to perfection." Rihanna commented, "It's the pen for me. Love to you sistren."

Rihanna's "Lift Me Up" song is out now. The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever film and soundtrack will arrive on 11 November.
