Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Mitski and David Byrne nominated for Best Original Song at 2023 Oscars
The 2023 Oscar nominations have been revealed, and Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Mitski, David Byrne and more are among the Best Original Song nominees.
The nominations for this year’s Academy Awards are here, of the 147 scores and 82 songs that were entered, evaluated and declared eligible for the 2023 Oscars, five songs and five scores have been nominated for 2023.
Rihanna's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever song "Lift Me Up" has been nominated for Best Original Song alongside Son Lux's Everything Everywhere All at Once song "This Is a Life" featuring Mitski and David Byrne, Lady Gaga's Top Gun: Maverick track "Hold My Hand", "Naatu Naatu" from RRR and "Applause” from Tell It Like a Woman, which is performed by Sofia Carson and was written by Diane Warren.
This year's Best Original Score nominees include All Quiet on the Western Front, Babylon, The Banshees of Inisherin, Everything Everywhere All at Once and The Fabelmans.
