Ride, Four Tet, Caribou, Anna Calvi and more to feature on forthcoming compilation from Eat Your Own Ears
Eat Your Own Ears Recordings, a label formed by the esteemed London-based music promoters have announced a limited edition double vinyl compilation.
The record features EP 1 and EP 2 for the first time on vinyl, alongside a new track from Guinean musician Falle Nioke as well as hidden gems from Caribou and the recently reformed shoegazers Cranes. In celebration of the release, Cranes have released an unheard version of "Fragile", featuring Alison Shaw.
“It’s been a long time coming... but finally we have our own Eat Your Own Ears limited double vinyl, it feels pretty special to have an actual physical record out and not just a digital file, a representation of some of the artists we have worked with and become friends with over 20 years," says Tom Baker. Also something that has been collaboratively put together with two people that have very much been an important part of Eat Your Own Ears over those years, Lucy Pitkethly (co-curator) and Tom Phillips (art director and designer).”
The two disc compilation album will be officially released on 1 November, with limited pre-orders available now.
