Relentless Records signee charlieeeee unveils their debut single, "EASY"
Award-winning producer, engineer, songwriter charlieeeee has signed to Relentless Records, and shares their debut single "EASY", which features Piri.
"EASY" is charlieeeee’s debut single, featuring piri. Speaking about the track, charlieeeee says: “‘EASY’ is, at its heart, a love song. It’s about the simplicity of love, when you are having a great time with your friends or partners and how easy life feels - this song was actually a by-product of my 2023 New Year’s resolution where I forced myself to finish every song I started!”
The track is accompanied by an intergalactic music video. Directed by Lilly Shickle and executive-produced by charlieeeee, the video is the first instalment of a charlieeeee’s world trilogy, featuring a number of Easter eggs alluding to what’s to come. charlieeeee says: “The ‘EASY’ music video is actually a slight commentary on the alienation you can feel as a queer person in such a heteronormative society.”
You’ve not heard of charlieeeee yet, but they are responsible for countless songs you have heard. As an award-winning producer, engineer, songwriter and creative director, charlieeeee has established themselves as a go-to collaborator for the likes of Fred again.., RAYE, MNEK, piri & tommy, venbee and Girli.
In addition to making music, charlieeeee is the founder of the Trans Creative Collective, a production company described as “a safe space for trans+ creators and allies in the arts, music & film.” Launched in 2022, the collective’s aim is to help connect, upskill and provide opportunities within creative industries to the trans+ community and allies through socials, workshops and mentoring.
