Redcar, FKA Christine and the Queens, delays album release and postpones shows due to injury
Redcar, formerly known as Christine and the Queens, has shared a statement delaying the release of his Redcar les adorables étoiles album, and has also announced the postponement of some shows after getting injured in rehearsals last week.
The statement, shared on socials this afternoon, revealed that Chris, who performs as Redcar, "injured himself on stage while dancing" in rehearsals late last week.
"The doctors have forbidden him to return to the stage for at least three weeks, the time to recover," the statement continued. "We are therefore obliged to cancel the concert in Arles on 17 September and to postpone the concerts in Paris and London."
The statement also revealed that the upcoming album Redcar les adorables étoiles, which was due to arrive on 23 September, "has been moved to 11 November exclusively for the show."
