RALLY festival returns for its second edition with the likes of Nilüfer Yanya, bar italia, and Armand Hammer
Community-driven arts and music festival RALLY returns to Southwark Park on Bank Holiday Weekend, Saturday 24 August for a second edition.
With a central focus on musical discovery, collaboration and community, RALLY will continue to elevate and evolve this summer welcoming new curational collaborators NTS Radio, and partnerships with London institutions Tate (Tate Collective), and Southbank Centre.
UK electronic heavyweights Mount Kimbie will mark their first London festival show in seven years, performing fresh off the back of their long anticipated album, The Sunset Violent. Curated by GALA and Bird On The Wire, with key contributions from NTS and Southbank Centre, this year’s festival will see an array of acts play the festival’s three core stages. The music programme features compelling live artists such as Nilüfer Yanya, bar italia, Armand Hammer, Sorry, ML Buch, Alabaster DePlume, and Actress plus genre-bending DJ sets from DJ Marcelle, Call Super, Lena Willikens, Moopie and more.
This year RALLY is building upon the success of 2023’s debut year, offering bold evolutions across the board, partnerships with renowned arts institutions, and a curation that works with and supports DIY collectives and grassroots venues. Collaborators and partners include the not-for-profit gallery Bermondsey Project Space, and the Tate’s platform for young creatives Tate Collective. 2024 will also see a continued work with Goldsmiths’ Exhibitions Hub as well as a renewed collaboration with LGBTQIA+ performance and art platform @Disturbance.
RALLY is a one day music and arts festival inspired by DIY culture, celebrating the importance of community. Signup is open now.
