Rag’n’Bone Man to play free show at PizzaExpress Live next week
PizzaExpress is launching a free series of performances in branches across the UK this December – kicking off next Wednesday in London with Rag’n’Bone Man.
The Press for Showtime series sees the Eastbourne-born, multi-BRIT-award winner – fresh from the release of third album What Do You Believe In? and a sold-out UK and European tour – pitching up for an intimate, acoustic gig on 4 December at PizzaExpress Live in Soho.
You can apply for free tickets for the event via a ballot which closes this Sunday
Press for Showtime was put together by the pizza chain after research revealed that over half of UK families are cutting back on festive outings this year, with 41% planning to skip traditional experiences and events all together.
Alongside Rag’n’Bone Man, the programme will include performances from world-renowned Christmas choirs and iconic pantomime characters. John’s Boys Male Chorus will appear in Cardiff on 9 December, Beauty and the Beast presented by Paul Holman Associates and Carriageworks Theatre will be in Leeds on 11 December, and Symphonic Six (musicians from the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra) will play in Birmingham on 13 December.
"We wanted to create something truly special to spread some holiday cheer whilst dining with us this festive period," explains PizzaExpress CEO Paula Mackenzie. "The Press for Showtime series is about bringing people together over great food and live entertainment at time when celebrations are firmly on the menu, so we’re thrilled to have Rag’n’Bone Man help us kick it off in style."
The ballot for Rag'n'Bone Man tickets is open until 11.59pm on Sunday, 1 December
